The ČSVTS Congress hall, 2nd floor

Tuesday December 5, 2006
Pavel Švejda, Secretary General AIE CR and Chairman of the Organizing Committee opened the morning section and announced that this 13^th Conference on Innovation, R&D will be moderated by Jiří Dvořák, Vice-president AIE CR There were 75 participants.
P.Svejda introduced the speakers and remembered main goals of INNOVATION 2006:

1. at the first time is prepared Gallery of Innovations within the symposium and exhibition
2. at the first time is this year integrated programme of 2 training courses as a part of education
3. at the first time exist project iVi - information in training about innovation - within the project are Swedish experiences with projects implementation – at the December 7,2006
4. at least he invited participants on Innovation Award held December 8, 2006 at 12 o´clock
   

Speaches of the morning part were by the programme.

Performance of “National Innovation Policy of the CR for years 2005-2010”

Miroslav Janeček, member of the Council for Research and Development, 1^st Vice-President of AIE CR informed participants about:

1. tasks and measures within NIP (National Innovation Policy) and programme principles
2. goals of structural funds, science-technological parks and funding R&D
3. support of establishing spin-offs where is still missing the responsible body for R&D
4. transformation the organizations of Academy of Sciences CR into research institutions
   

Innovative Environment in Russian Federation

V.F.Jevstafjev, General Director RINKCE mentioned national innovation system, its structure; system of training – educating specialists; logistics; and gave invitation to the Salon of Innovation and Investment, Moscow February 5 – 8,2007

Tasks of International Center for Scientific and Technological Information

Nikolay Illarionov, Chairman of Department ICSTI, Russian Federation informed about activities and projects of the Center and gave examples of domestic and foreign workshops and seminars. More via

Czech – German cooperation in Research, Development and Innovation

Hans Jürgen Donath, representing BMBF, German Federal Republic, evaluated 15 years of cooperation German – CR (common projects in environment, nanotechnologies) informed about project “Regional Call” and remembered tomorrow’s seminar

Lucie Jeřábková, Contact Office of AiF in Prague informed about:

1. activities of the Contact Office in Prague that is member of INYTEC Network (support R&D in SMEs)
2. international cooperation (programme PRO INNO 2)
3. activities organised by the Contact Office. More via
   

The Programme of Industrial Research and Development IMPULS

Miroslav Chlumský, Council of the Programme IMPULS, MIT (Ministry of Industry and Trade). He introduced IMPULS programme and its support the projects of industrial R&D. Researching time is maximum 3 years/project. Conditions for support are leverage the financial support during 5 years after finishing the research. Programme will be stopped in 2010. He forced cooperation among industrial factories, research institutions, universities and MPO. More via

Mr. Jiří Dvořák managed Discussion, too, and there were opened following important ideas:

• Zd.Jirků – European Inst. For Social and Economic Development – informed participants about preparation the 2^nd Successors´ Youth European Summit (SEYS), which venue is March 19-20, 2007. More via www.seys.cz
• V.Březina – JU (Southbohemian University) Nové Hrady – informed about biochemical incubator, cooperation with Austrian firms and their interest in cooperation with Russian and Ukrainian firms
• M.Janeček – AVO (Association of Research Institutions) – remembered IPR, tasks dispensations for R&D and popularisation R&D (Česká hlava a Inovace roku)
• A.Ivanov – Embassy of Russian Federation in Prague – Innovation and its appreciation and realisation of innovations, competitively firms
• J Jirásek – member of Advisory Board of IPaTT magazine AIE CR. He mentioned differences between this meeting and meeting at previous year. All discussions were about the present work of managers but nobody said about the ides to the future and how they moved their branch.

Karel Šperlink, President AIE CR digestedly informed about:

• structural funds EU (3 OP of the MIT)
• connections between OP (supporting necessary innovation – support of SMEs)

Regional Innovational Strategy

Manfred Helmich, Chairman of the Czech Association of Development Agencies (ČARA) introduced ČARA as a purpose body collecting 13 development agencies in regions, mentioned cooperation with AIE CR and regional representants of AIE CR and influence of region. More via

Out of Programme had the speech Leonid Vodovatov – Technological innovative zones

He mentioned international cooperation and their goals and mentioned chosen economical zones in RF: Lipens´region, Moscow Zelenograd, Dubna, Moscow region, Saint Petersburg, Tomsk. More via

Preparation of specialists in the field of innovative entrepreneurship

Pavel Švejda, Secretary General AIE CR, mentioned the article in IPaTT magazine – page 2-3 – where is detaily written the whole problem and evaluated, too. He mentioned the previous books “Bases of Innovative Entrepreneurship” and “Managing the Innovation in Enterprise”.

He also invited participants on exhibition opening (4^th floor of ČSVTS building with the launch of the CD-ROM 08 version – Technological Profile of the CR).

Discussion:

There were some questions and answers:

• M.Pittner – ČKVŘ – mentioned to pay attention such question as managing and innovations

• M.Cenek, ČAOE – informed about news in the branch of alternative energy sources (hybrid buses in London, accu batteries in Santa Barbara – California, electrobus in Znojmo – South Moravia)

• V.Benda, IEE – cooperation enterprises and universities, accelerate the innovation proces

   

Conclusion of the section made the moderator of afternoon part

At 4 p.m. was Exhibition opening – vernissage (4^th floor of ČSVTS building with the launch of the CD-ROM 08 version – Technological Profile of the CR). There were 49 participants. Main speech hold P.Švejda, launch personally provided J.Kofroň, manager of the Technological profile project and the leader of Information Centre at INNOVATION 2006. He said theth the issue of CD-ROM is this time higher then previous year – 6000 pc. (2005 was only 5000 pc.).

Then the whole group (45 persons) continuously walked through all floors and project managers or participants of the meeting introduced their poster projects.
